How to quickly care for wigs

If you buy a wig, it’s good for you! Whether you’re wearing a wig to hide sparse hair or just change your look, wigs can be fun. That being said, the first thing you need to know is how to properly care for your wig. If you want it to always look as good as the first day you bought it, there are a few things to consider. Here are some basics you need to know about how to properly care for wigs.
Natural human hair care

You don’t need special hair care products for natural wig care – your product for natural hair (normal hair) is suitable for human hair wig care.
Wig combing

How to quickly care for wigs

Gently develop the bundle with your fingers.

Gently comb the wig with a thin-toothed comb or finger. Do not touch the wig cap.
Wig cleaning

You should consider cleaning when you wear your wig for the tenth time. This advice will depend on how dirty your wig is or the type of venue you are wearing. Where and where you go, including weather conditions and how much sweating can seriously affect how often you clean it.

Both human hair wigs and synthetic wigs should be washed at about the same frequency, but the way you clean them will be very different.

A human hair wig needs to be unwrapped in cold water and then massaged with shampoo, just like a real hair. You need to make sure that the shampoo bubbles evenly throughout the wig. When finished, rinse the hair and make sure that the water flows in the same direction throughout the wig to avoid entanglement. After all the rinses have been done, you can dry them with a towel and adjust the wigs. Then rinse in the same way, dry gently with a towel and air dry.
Wig nutrition

If you want to have a silky shiny wig, you can use hair balm.

You can also use conditioner – rinse your hair or soak in cold water for 15-30 minutes, then apply conditioner to the wig and rinse off.
Wig drying

Gently drain the soaked wig into a soft towel and do not wring it out.

Wet wigs can be dried by a hair dryer or dried on a towel at room temperature.
Wig protection

Keep the wig away from heating, open flames and other high temperature sources.

If you wear a wig every day, place it on a special wig or model.

If you rarely wear a wig, you can keep the completely dry wig in a paper box or package.
